38th South Island Masters Track and Field Championships
This Event Is Now Closed.

Standard entries open until end of 24 October. Late entries will remain open until the end of 7 November and will incur a $15 late entry fee.

No entries will be accepted after 31 October due to the need to finalise the event programme, organise the procurement of numbers and compile/print the race booklet.

The 2018 South Island Masters Track and Field Championships will be held at Surrey Park in Invercargill, from Friday 16th November to Sunday 18th November 2018.

This event is open to both NZMA Competitive & ANZ Competitive financial members, as per the MoU between NZMA & ANZ (September 2016).

All competitors must be 30+ years old as at the first day of competition.

Visitors from outside the North Island may compete, but are not eligible for titles / placings.


Instructions (PLEASE READ)

If you are an ANZ club athlete or you have previously entered an event hosted on the Club Net platform, such as the OMA or NZMA Champs in early 2018, you will have a registration with this site. If you are a member of a club that administers this for you and you don't know your password, click "Login" on the right and use the link "Forgotten Your Password." If the system responds "Something went wrong. Please try again later" this means your email address is not registered (we have requested that error message become more meaningful for future championships) - your ANZ club have either registered you with a different address or you are not a member of a club and should use NZMA-only as your entry option.

If you are a NZMA-only member and not a member of an ANZ club, you will not need to log-in unless your email address is already associated with an account. It does not matter if your membership with the ANZ Club is lapsed. Just click "Register Here" as per step 1 below and then select the NZMA-only member entry type.

Note if you are a NZMA-only member and have used one of these entry sites before (e.g. to enter Oceanias) you may have a log-in already, in which case you can also click "Login" on the right. The system will prompt you to log-in at step 3 below if this is the case.

NB: as NZMA are in the process of adopting Clubnet for Membership registrations, your email address and account may already be in the system even if this is the first time you have used it. In this case, when the system asks you to login, click "Login" on the right and use the link "Forgotten Your Password" to obtain your log-in details,

  1. Click the "Register Here" button to the right.
  2. Select your entry type Click "Next."
  3. Enter your Email address and create a password. Note: If the system recognises your email address (e.g. from when you entered Oceanias) it will ask for your password. (If you don't know your password, use the link "Forgotten Your Password" to reset it.) Once you have logged on, you will be returned to the first screen to repeat steps 1 and 2.
  4. Complete all other personal details. Please double check you have entered your DOB and Gender correctly. Click "Next." If you have more than one record in Clubnet, complete the box "Club Representing." This does not mean you have to represent that club e.g. you may be a current NZMA Member with a lapsed ANZ club membership.
  5. Select the club (if an ANZ member) or centre (if NZMA-only member) with whom you hold a current membership and click "Next."
  6. Click "Add Event"
  7. Select Event Category e.g. Sprints.
  8. Select Event e.g. 100m. Click "Next."
  9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 untill you have added all your events. Check that you have not accidentally entered the same event more than once!
  10. Click Next then 'Pay Now", Complete your payment details (all values are in NZ Dollars) and press "Submit" only once. Note that this can sometimes take a moment. If you have previously saved a credit card to your account, this will be offered for use.
  11. An email confirmation will be sent

Later if you wish to add further events return to this site and Login using the password you created at the start then click on your name on the right hand side and click on Entrant Home then add events by repeating steps 6-10.

Results Certificates and Barbecue Tickets:

You can purchase a results certificate (to be sent to you post-event) for $7.50 and tickets for the Saturday niight barbecue for $10 while making your entry. Should you wish to add these after the event, go to the links:

Accommodation near the stadium:

The Ascot Park Hotel (1.7km from Surrey Park) has a special rate for participants:

  • $110/night for Motel Units
  • $110/night for Hotel Rooms
  • $165/night for One Bedroom Apartments
  • Rates are inclusive of GST for 1-2 people. $25.50 per extra person in a room

Entry Fees
